Where to Find Real-Time Updates

When the weather shifts, we move fast. We provide updates within 15 minutes of any delay through the following:

1. The GotSport Schedule Page: Look for the "Event Alert" banner at the top of the page.

2. The Tournament Website: Check the alert bar at the top of our homepage for instant status changes.

3. On-Site Announcements: We use facility speaker systems and bullhorns to deliver live updates directly to teams on the field.

Professional Weather Monitoring

To make the most accurate safety decisions, we use WxSentry, a state-of-the-art radar software. This is the same system used for MLS protocols at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

Precision Tracking: We monitor storm speed, direction, and strength with high accuracy.

Lightning Detection: We track strikes within 30-mile, 15-mile, and 10-mile radii to ensure every Storm player is off the field long before danger arrives.

Game Stoppage & Refund Policies

If weather delays occur, we follow a clear protocol to keep the tournament moving:

The 60-Minute Rule: If a delay exceeds 60 minutes, any game that has reached halftime (or is in the second half) will be called final.

Tiered Refund Protection:

80% Refund: The event is canceled entirely due to weather or external forces.

60% Refund: Only 1 of the 3 guaranteed games is played.

30% Refund: Only 2 of the 3 guaranteed games are played.
