Fall U11-U19 Rec Plus - Castle Rock

The Castle Rock Rec Plus program for U11–U19 athletes is specifically designed for players who are ready for a higher level of instruction while remaining deeply rooted in our local recreational community. At this age, the game evolves to 9v9, a format that provides the ideal balance for older players. This format ensures that while the game becomes more structured, it stays high-energy and accessible, keeping every player involved in the action.

What defines the Rec Plus experience in the Castle Rock region is our dual-coaching hybrid model. We believe that even in a recreational setting, technical skills are best developed under expert guidance; therefore, all weekly practices are led by our Technical Staff. These sessions focus on ball mastery and group tactics, helping players feel more confident and capable on the ball. On match days, the team is led by a Volunteer Coach, ensuring the weekend remains focused on the social, fun, and community-driven aspects of soccer.

Our Castle Rock Rec Plus teams compete in the Storm Interbranch League, allowing players to represent their hometown while playing against other nearby Colorado Storm regions. This format provides a great variety of competition while keeping the "big club" feel local. By combining expert-led training with a volunteer-led match day, we offer a premier way for athletes to keep playing the game they love with their friends, at a level that fits their ambition.

We focus on bridging the gap between staff-led training and the joy of community match days. Our goal is to develop "well-rounded players" who can apply new skills to the game while enjoying the social and team-building benefits of recreational soccer.

Through the Castle Rock Rec Plus experience, players develop:
