About

The U11–U12 Academy at Colorado Storm North is the definitive training environment for the region's most ambitious young athletes. Serving as a high-performance bridge to national-level play, this program is designed specifically for those who aspire to transcend local competition. Within Colorado Storm North, the Academy functions as a specialized incubator where players master the 9v9 format while being systematically prepared for the 11v11 game and the elite standards of the ECNL Regional League for both boys and girls.

The program is defined by a professional 10-month seasonal structure (August–May/June). This year-round commitment allows our Professional Coaching Staff to implement a curriculum focused on deep technical proficiency and tactical maturity. By training consistently in the northern corridor, our athletes develop the "Storm Spark"—a combination of technical flair and the disciplined work rate required to succeed in the Pre-ECNL Colorado Conference.

Our competitive model is multi-tiered to ensure maximum growth. Teams represent the North region in the ECNL Regional League and the Colorado Soccer Association (CSA), while also gaining access to exclusive FLEX Festivals and Pre-ECNL Cups. This exposure to high-level regional opponents is vital, as it forces players to adapt to various styles of play and high-pressure scenarios, accelerating their readiness for the full-sided national leagues at U13.

The Storm North Academy curriculum emphasizes positional discipline, spatial intelligence, and technical execution at speed. We immerse our players in a culture of high accountability, ensuring they possess the mental resilience and soccer IQ necessary for the elite competitive hierarchy.

Choosing the Academy at Colorado Storm North means joining a program that values long-term excellence and professional pathways. We provide the elite competitive platforms and the technical roadmap; our players provide the drive that fuels our northern regional success.
