Fall Sparks - South

Colorado Storm South welcomes our youngest athletes to Sparks, the premier introductory soccer experience for U4 children across the southern suburbs. Formerly known as Soccer Start, this program is the perfect gateway into organized sports for toddlers and preschoolers in the Storm South region. We focus on transforming the pitch into a vibrant world of discovery, where balance, coordination, and physical literacy are built through pure, unadulterated play.

Our 6-week seasonal structure in both Fall and Spring is intentionally designed to match the high energy and shorter attention spans of U4 players. Within Storm South, our curriculum moves away from traditional drills, instead using imaginative storytelling and creative games led by enthusiastic coaches. This method allows children to master the fundamentals of moving with a ball while they are fully immersed in a world of fun and exploration, making it a standout choice for South Denver toddler soccer.

We introduce the excitement of match play through a free-flowing, small-sided environment. These small numbers lead to more touches, more goals, and the building blocks of confidence. At this age, the scoreboard is irrelevant; our focus is on creating a positive first impression of the sport that fosters a lifelong connection to the game.

The Sparks program at Storm South is open to all children ready to explore movement and play. We focus on developing these "Starting Skills":
