About

The Colorado Storm Winter Goalkeeper Camp provides specialized, position-specific instruction designed to elevate every goalkeeper's game during the off-season. Hosted at Storm North, this camp delivers focused training to build technical mastery, tactical awareness, and match confidence between the posts. The curriculum concentrates on shot-stopping, footwork, distribution, and game-realistic decision-making in a high-energy indoor environment.

This program serves players in the U9 through U13 age groups across developmental and competitive skill levels. Goalkeepers are organized into small, ability-based training groups (U9–U10 and U11–U13 time slots) to ensure tailored coaching and direct feedback. Whether a keeper is learning fundamental handling or refining advanced positional reflexes, the structured curriculum supports their individual progression.

Hosted at Storm North, this camp serves as an open-access specialized hub for the broader soccer community. The program welcomes goalkeepers from all Storm regions as well as non-Storm players who want dedicated position training over the winter months. It acts as an athletic accelerator, bridging the gap between competitive seasons without requiring a full-season club commitment.

Running as an eight-session Thursday evening series from November through January at Trailwinds, the schedule integrates smoothly into winter family routines. Parents choosing this camp provide their goalkeepers with expert, role-specific coaching that translates directly to match-day performance, building crucial composure and command of the penalty area.
