Winter Playmaker Camp - North

The Colorado Storm Playmaker Camp is an advanced, competitive training experience designed for players who want to elevate their vision, spatial awareness, and decision-making on the field. Hosted at Storm North, this camp brings intelligent passing and creative tactical training indoors for the winter off-season. The curriculum focuses on helping athletes recognize open space, execute purposeful combination play, and dictate the tempo of matches under realistic game pressure.

This program serves competitive and advanced players in the U9 through U14 age groups. Campers are organized by age and technical readiness to ensure every session challenges their tactical understanding and decision-making speed. Because of the advanced focus of the training, registration includes a brief review process to ensure that all participants possess the foundational skill level needed to thrive in this high-level environment.

Colorado Storm hosts this program as an open-access training hub for the broader regional soccer community. The camp warmly welcomes players from all Storm regions as well as non-Storm athletes looking to sharpen their tactical game over the winter. It serves as a skill-building accelerator, bridging the gap between competitive seasons without requiring a full-season club commitment.

Running as a six-session Saturday morning series from November through January at Trailwinds, the schedule integrates conveniently into winter routines. Parents choosing this camp provide their players with specialized tactical instruction designed to translate directly to match-day leadership and creative impact on the field.
