Winter First Touch Academy Rec Camp - North

The Colorado Storm Winter Recreational Soccer Camp is a high-energy, fun-filled program designed to keep young players active, engaged, and developing their core foot skills during the winter months. Hosted at Storm North, this indoor camp offers a positive, supportive setting where kids can build confidence with the ball at their feet while falling in love with the game. The curriculum focuses on age-appropriate ball mastery, 1v1 dribbling games, and foundational footwork.

This program serves recreational players in the U5 through U12 age groups, catering to developing athletes across all skill levels—no prior experience necessary. Campers are organized into age-appropriate time slots (U5–U6, U7–U8, and U9–U12) and skill-matched groups to ensure a balanced, comfortable, and encouraging environment for everyone. Whether a player is trying soccer for the first time or keeping their skills sharp for spring, the training adapts to support their personal growth.

Colorado Storm hosts this program as an open-access soccer hub for the local community. The camp warmly welcomes players from all Storm regions as well as non-Storm players looking to try the sport or enjoy winter physical activity. It acts as an entry-level introduction and skill-building accelerator, providing high-quality soccer instruction without requiring a full-season competitive club commitment.

Running across two 5-week Friday evening series (Winter 1 and Winter 2) from November through February, the flexible indoor schedule fits conveniently into family weekend routines. Parents choosing this camp provide their children with certified, positive coaching that emphasizes individual growth, teamwork, and active winter fun.
