Residential Summer Camp (OVERNIGHT) - Elite

The Colorado Storm Elite Residential Summer Camp is a premier, week-long, overnight immersive experience hosted at the Elite Performance Center at Regis University (Storm Elite). Designed for U10–U16 athletes, this camp offers the rare opportunity for players to live and train like collegiate professionals. By utilizing university student dorms, dining halls, and professional classroom facilities, we provide a holistic environment that sharpens soccer skills and essential life skills through 24/7 immersion. Camp check-in begins around 12:00 PM on Monday of camp and concludes around 1:00 PM on Friday, the final day, allowing families to plan travel comfortably while maximizing the full residential experience.  

This high-level residency is specifically designed for Elite and advanced-level players (MLS NEXT, ECNL, GA, EAL, DPL, NPL, and CSA P1–P3). While hosted at the Storm Elite hub, the Elite Performance Center at Regis University, the program is open to players from all Storm regions and non-Storm players. We bring together the state and region’s top talent to build a culture of excellence, leadership, and team-building that extends from the morning training sessions to the evening dorm activities.

Players can expect to train or play for approximately 5-6 hours per day, with the overall training load carefully monitored by coaches, staff, and camp directors to ensure a healthy balance between performance, recovery, and development. In addition to on-field sessions, soccer learning is reinforced through classroom-based instruction, off-field leadership activities, and opportunities for video reflection or tactical analysis, helping players better understand the game and their individual performance.

The curriculum is built on three developmental pillars: Planning, Execution, and Reflection. This structured cycle teaches players to understand the preparation required for success, physically implement skills under pressure, and reflect on their performance to ensure lasting growth. This proven process, delivered by Colorado Storm’s top Elite Coaches and Directors, allows players to maximize their tactical and mental understanding in a safe, engaging, and highly connected setting.

On-Field Development Environment

• Elite Coaching Staff: Sessions are led by coaches with collegiate, professional, and National Platform (ECNL, MLS NEXT, GA) playing and/or coaching experience, ensuring players learn from individuals who understand the highest levels of the game.

• 10:1 Player-to-Coach Ratio: Maintained during all training sessions to ensure individualized coaching, meaningful feedback, and high engagement on the field.

• Dynamic Training Structure: Daily sessions combine technical training, positional work, and competitive game environments to replicate the demands of high-level match play.

• Training + Game Integration: Each day blends high-tempo training sessions with small-sided and full-field games, keeping the schedule competitive, engaging, and reflective of real match scenarios.

• Multi-Surface Training: Utilization of premium turf, grass, and specialized hardwood Futsal courts to refine technical versatility.
