About

Hosted at Storm Central, the Storm Technical Training Camp offers a multi-week indoor skills program designed to refine individual mechanics and build ball confidence. Held on Monday evenings at The Eddy from November 16 through December 7, this weekly clinic gives young players a consistent, structured training environment during the late fall transition.

The camp is open to players from all Colorado Storm regions as well as non-Storm players looking for top-tier developmental coaching. Positioned as an accessible skill-building accelerator, it serves beginner, developmental, and intermediate players across the 6U–7U and 8U–10U age groups who are eager to elevate their individual game.

Each one-hour session is structured by age group (6U–7U from 5:00 PM–6:00 PM and 8U–10U from 6:00 PM–7:00 PM) across two indoor fields to deliver targeted technical instruction. Players work through high-repetition exercises focused on ball mastery, footwork precision, first touch, and controlled dribbling under mild pressure.

Unlike standard team practices or passive seasonal downtime, this specialized clinic isolates core technical fundamentals to establish strong movement habits. It provides the ideal seasonal supplement for families seeking a predictable weekly touchpoint to keep players sharp, engaged, and improving throughout the late fall season.

Player Attributes

The Storm Technical Training Camp delivers a structured, energetic environment grounded in fundamental repetition and constructive coaching. Hosted at Storm Central, this welcoming weekly program invites players from all regions and non-Storm clubs to spend four Monday evenings actively refining their technical foundation. The experience is tailored for growth-minded young athletes who respond well to organized instruction, high ball contact, and progressive skill challenges.

  • Ability-Based Grouping: Organizes players by age brackets (6U–7U and 8U–10U) and skill level across two indoor fields to ensure optimal challenge, safety, and individual progress.

  • High Ball-Contact Training: Maximizes individual touches and technical repetitions within a focused 60-minute window to build comfort and confidence with the ball.

  • Foundational Skill Acquisition: Teaches proper mechanics for first touch, ball control, dynamic dribbling, and turning through progressive exercise setups.

  • Multi-Field Indoor Facility: Capitalizes on dual indoor turf space at The Eddy to execute fast-paced rotations with minimal downtime between drills.

  • Professional Coaching Standards: Led by experienced Colorado Storm staff dedicated to delivering clear physical demonstrations, high energy, and positive encouragement.

  • Weekly Off-Season Consistency: Formatted as a four-week Monday series, allowing players to build technical habits over time without interrupting school routines.

  • Developing Beginners: Welcomes new and intermediate players who want dedicated, technique-focused repetitions in a supportive environment.

Together with Colorado Storm and Storm Central, this camp creates the energy and technical confidence players need to elevate their game on the pitch.
