Winter January Jamboree MLK Day Camp | Central

Hosted at Storm Central, the January Jamboree Soccer Camp (MLK Day) offers a full-day, high-energy training environment designed to transform a school holiday into an active skill-building opportunity. Held at The Eddy on Monday, January 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, this single-day clinic gives young players a concentrated, high-rep environment to refine technical execution and build athletic self-belief during the winter break.

The camp is open to players from all Colorado Storm regions as well as non-Storm players looking for a top-tier, welcoming developmental experience. Positioned as a versatile skill-building accelerator, it serves both developmental and competitive players across the 6U–12U age groups who are eager to stay sharp and elevate their game.

Across two indoor fields, the daily curriculum is structured by age and ability (6U–8U and 9U–12U) to deliver focused, progressive instruction. Over the course of six hours, players rotate through specialized training stations targeting core ball mastery, dynamic passing, spatial decision-making, and small-sided match play.

Unlike passive day-off options or standard team practice settings, this holiday camp leverages an intensive, single-day format to maximize touches on the ball and tactical repetitions. It provides the ideal winter supplement for families seeking a productive touchpoint that keeps players focused, active, and prepared for their upcoming club commitments.

The January Jamboree Soccer Camp delivers a structured, energetic environment grounded in technical repetition and professional coaching. Hosted at Storm Central, this welcoming holiday program invites players from all regions and non-Storm clubs to spend their day off actively building skill and game understanding. The experience is tailored for growth-minded young athletes who respond well to organized instruction, dynamic challenges, and game-centered application.

• Ability-Based Grouping: Organizes players by age brackets (6U–8U and 9U–12U) and skill level across two indoor fields to ensure optimal physical parity, healthy competition, and tailored instruction.

• High Ball-Contact Training: Maximizes individual touches throughout a six-hour training window to build comfort, speed, and precision with the ball.

• Game-Based Decision Training: Utilizes small-sided match scenarios to teach players how to translate individual technical skills into fast, practical choices on the field.

• Multi-Field Indoor Facility: Capitalizes on dual-field space at The Eddy to run efficient, high-tempo drill rotations without unnecessary downtime.

• Professional Coaching Standards: Led by experienced Colorado Storm staff committed to delivering clear guidance, high energy, and constructive feedback.
