Hosted at Storm Central, the Goalkeeper Camp offers an intensive multi-week training environment built to refine shot-stopping mechanics, footwork, and tactical box presence. Held on Monday evenings at The Eddy across three focused dates (November 30, December 7, 14 and January 4, 11, and 18), this winter clinic provides dedicated goalkeepers with high-repetition, specialized coaching during the off-season.
The program is open to players from all Colorado Storm regions as well as non-Storm athletes seeking top-tier positional instruction. Positioned as an elite skill-building accelerator, it serves developing and competitive goalkeepers across the 8U–10U and 11U–14U age brackets who are committed to mastering the unique physical and mental demands of the position.
Each one-hour session is structured by age group (8U–10U from 5:00 PM–6:00 PM and 11U–14U from 6:00 PM–7:00 PM) to ensure appropriate physical parity and clear instruction. Goalkeepers execute continuous repetitions in core technical areas, including handling, diving safety, angle play, quick recovery, and distribution techniques.
Unlike general team practice settings where goalkeepers often split time, this specialized environment isolates position-specific demands under professional guidance. It gives athletes the ideal winter touchpoint to maintain sharp reaction times, expand their spatial awareness, and step back onto the field with commanding authority.
