About

Colorado Storm Net Battle is a high-intensity clinical program that places shooters and goalkeepers into realistic match scenarios where every repetition matters. Hosted at Storm Central, this four-day camp is designed for U9–U16 players who thrive in competitive, game-realistic environments. By replicating the pressure of a live match, we bridge the gap between isolated drills and true game speed.

The curriculum focuses on the most critical moments of the game: high-intensity finishing, 1v1 breakaways, crosses, and transition moments. While hosted at the Storm Central hub, this camp is open to players from all Storm regions and non-Storm players. It is an ideal environment for intermediate and advanced athletes to test their composure and creativity against live opposition in a demanding yet exciting setting.

Sessions are held Monday through Thursday and are structured into age-specific competitive blocks to ensure appropriate challenge:

Session Schedule:

  • U9–U19: Monday–Thursday | 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM (June 22, 23, 24, 25 or July 20, 21, 22, 23)

Parents should choose this camp for players who are motivated by competition and want training that feels like real soccer. Net Battle is not designed for beginners; it is an excellent tool for competitive players preparing for higher-level play who want to sharpen their finishing or shot-stopping skills through intense, live repetitions.

Player Attributes

The Colorado Storm Net Battle environment is rigorous, competitive, and focused on clinical execution. This program is an ideal fit for competitive preparers and skill-focused athletes who respond well to high-pressure training scenarios. We provide a professional, high-energy atmosphere at Storm Central that welcomes goal-scorers and shot-stoppers from all youth soccer clubs.

  • Live Match Realism: Drills incorporate a shooter and a goalkeeper to replicate the physical and mental pressure of a real game.

  • Intense Repetition Volume: Designed to provide hundreds of touches and saves across breakaways, rebounds, and crosses.

  • Composure & Creativity: Attackers learn to find the net with variety, while goalkeepers refine their reaction time and block techniques.

  • Transition Training: Focus on quick-strike scenarios that teach players how to react instantly to changes in ball possession.

  • Ability-Matched Competition: Players are grouped to ensure shooters and keepers are facing opposition that pushes their technical limits.

  • Professional Standards: Led by staff who specialize in clinical finishing and goalkeeper-specific tactics to provide immediate, actionable feedback.
