About

The Colorado Storm Raindrops program is an entry-level introduction designed specifically for our youngest players in the U2–U4 age groups (2023–2024 birth years). Hosted at Storm Central (The Eddy), this low-pressure indoor program serves as the ideal foundational link for Pre-K children who are ready to experience soccer for the very first time. The curriculum is intentionally engineered to spark an early love for the sport through creative play and constant, joyful movement.

While anchored at our Central hub, this multi-week program welcomes families from all Storm regions as well as non-Storm players who are brand new to the club soccer environment. We provide a highly inclusive, community-focused setting where toddlers from all backgrounds can play and learn together. With a strict capacity limit of 16 players per session, each child receives the personalized attention required to feel completely safe and supported.

The program focuses entirely on developing basic physical literacy, spatial awareness, and early coordination through imaginative, soccer-themed games. Structured as a 45-minute, once-weekly morning session running for four weeks, this format keeps young children fully engaged without the risk of physical fatigue. It is the perfect summer supplement for parents looking for a structured, climate-controlled activity that builds early social skills and motor development.

Session Schedule:

Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays | 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM

  • Session 1: 4-Week Program starting the week of June 1, 2026

  • Session 2: 4-Week Program starting the week of July 6, 2026

Player Attributes

The Colorado Storm Raindrops environment is high-energy, encouraging, and centered entirely on the joy of early childhood movement. This program is an ideal match for developing beginners who are ready to explore a structured group setting, make new friends, and follow simple coaching cues. We provide a safe, professionally run indoor atmosphere at The Eddy that welcomes families from all across the community to begin their soccer journey together.

  • Imaginative Game-Based Learning: The curriculum blends playful storytelling with physical movement to teach basic soccer concepts like tracking, dribbling, and stopping the ball.

  • High-Volume Ball Contact: Sessions utilize age-appropriate, size-specific soccer balls and interactive challenges to maximize touches and build early comfort.

  • Physical Literacy Focus: Activities are specifically engineered to improve balance, core stability, and fundamental coordination in toddler-aged athletes.

  • Small-Group Environment: With a maximum capacity of 16 players per class, the training setting remains personal, supportive, and completely non-intimidating.

  • Positive Reinforcement Coaching: Training is guided by patient staff who specialize in early childhood development, ensuring every child leaves with a spark of achievement.

  • Year-Round Facility Standards: Hosted indoors at The Eddy to provide a consistent, climate-controlled surface perfect for young children to run, fall, and play safely.
