About

Hosted at Storm Castle Rock, the Holiday Camp offers an energetic three-day training environment designed to kick off winter break with high-touch soccer, personal growth, and competition. Held at The Storm Shelter from December 21 through December 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily, this full-day program turns holiday downtime into an active skill-building experience.

The camp is open to players from all Colorado Storm regions as well as non-Storm players looking for a welcoming, high-quality holiday soccer program. Positioned as a versatile skill-building accelerator, it serves beginner, developmental, and competitive players across the U7 through U12 age groups who want to build footwork mechanics, spatial awareness, and creative self-belief.

Across the three full-day sessions, coaches lead players through structured stations featuring dynamic ball mastery, technical challenges, and small-sided games. Grouped by age and ability, athletes engage in high-repetition exercises designed to refine execution while fostering game enjoyment.

Unlike passive holiday break options or standard seasonal practices, this holiday camp uses a concentrated full-day setup to maximize active touch time in a supportive indoor setting. It provides the ideal seasonal touchpoint for families seeking an organized, high-energy environment to keep players sharp, active, and improving.

Player Attributes

The Holiday Camp provides a structured, high-energy environment grounded in technical skill development, creative play, and positive coaching. Hosted at Storm Castle Rock, this welcoming program invites players from all regions and non-Storm communities to spend three days of winter break sharpening their game. The experience is tailored for growth-minded young athletes who respond well to engaging instruction, energetic group dynamics, and game-centered learning.

  • Ability-Based Grouping: Organizes players by age and skill level to ensure appropriate physical parity, healthy peer competition, and targeted coaching.

  • High Ball-Contact Training: Maximizes active touches and possession repetitions throughout six-hour training days to enhance comfort and footwork precision.

  • Engaging Game-Based Curriculum: Combines technical skill stations with small-sided games to encourage dynamic decision-making and creative problem-solving.

  • Dedicated Indoor Facility: Utilizes the hard-court indoor space at The Storm Shelter to guarantee continuous play and active movement protected from winter weather.

  • Professional Coaching Standards: Led by experienced Colorado Storm staff dedicated to delivering clear physical demonstrations, supportive feedback, and high energy.

  • Holiday Off-Season Consistency: Formatted as a concentrated three-day holiday series, helping players stay active and maintain technical sharpness over the winter break.

  • Growth-Minded Athletes: Built for players of all skill backgrounds who want to stay active, refine their mechanics, and enjoy playing alongside motivated peers.

Together with Colorado Storm and Storm Castle Rock, this camp creates the energy and confidence players need to elevate their game on the pitch.
