The Colorado Storm Crossing & Finishing Camp is a high-intensity, specialized soccer clinic designed for athletes in the U9–U15 age groups who want to dominate the most decisive moments of the game. Hosted at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock, this program is engineered to sharpen the clinical edge of strikers, the precision of midfielders, and the attacking contributions of defenders. By focusing exclusively on the "scoring third" of the pitch, we provide players with the specific technical tools and tactical intelligence required to create and convert high-quality chances under match pressure.
Our curriculum delves deep into the fine mechanics of ball-striking, ensuring that every repetition is purposeful and anatomically sound. We break down the complexities of various crossing techniques—including driven, lofted, and early service—while simultaneously training attackers on the art of "arriving ready." This advanced training approach helps players understand not just how to strike the ball, but where to be and when to move to exploit gaps in the opposition’s defense. Through this specialized focus, athletes develop the poise and composure needed to finish with variety and confidence.
While anchored at the Storm Castle Rock regional hub, this camp remains open to intermediate and advanced players from all Storm regions as well as non-Storm players. We maintain a high-standard training culture that attracts motivated players from across the community, fostering a competitive yet supportive environment. By training in small, intentional groups, we ensure that every participant receives personalized feedback and a massive volume of repetitions, allowing them to build the muscle memory necessary for instinctive, explosive play in the attacking third.
