At Colorado Storm, our coaches are the vital spark that ignites a player's passion for the game. We are seeking dedicated professionals for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 seasons to create player-centered environments across all regions. You will be the primary architect of growth for athletes from U4 to U19, guiding them through the Storm development pathway from their first touches to collegiate opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven Reliability: Strong organizational skills and the ability to represent Storm professionally across all regions.

  • Developmental Mindset: Familiarity with structured player development frameworks and a commitment to long-term growth over "win-at-all-costs" mentalities.

  • Team Player: A background in team environments (playing or coaching) and a desire to collaborate with fellow Storm staff.

  • Growth-Oriented: Eagerness to pursue formal coaching licenses and engage in continuous education provided by the club.

  • Core Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and a deep, infectious passion for the sport of soccer.

Environment Creator: Build a pitch culture where every player feels valued and included, ensuring that development and fun go hand-in-hand.

Effective Communicator: Take initiative in keeping parents and stakeholders informed about schedule changes or team news. You must adhere to Colorado Storm communication policies, responding to all emails or calls within 24–48 hours.

Pathway Proponent: Actively implement the Colorado Storm Player Development Plan and Game Model. You will tailor your approach to the specific ages and stages of your players, fostering a deep trust and rapport with every athlete.

Resourceful Problem Solver: Prioritize player needs over short-term results. You will use an inquiry-based coaching style to encourage player creativity and resilience, even when it leads to mistakes on the path to mastery.

Self-Motivated Learner: Take ownership of your growth. Work with your Director to create a personalized development plan, staying open to feedback and evolving your methods to meet the needs of the modern game.

Administrative Diligence: Complete all required player evaluations, attendance tracking, and injury reports promptly. Keeping accurate records is vital to maintaining the upward momentum of our players across all regions of Colorado.
