About

As a Sparks Site Coordinator & Trainer, your goal is to introduce players, boys and girls ages 3-5 years old, who want to discover the joys of soccer and initiate them in its practices. We work with parent volunteers to coordinate sessions and promote player’s love for the game and fundamentals! Sessions are 50 minutes long, you should arrive 15 minutes beforehand and will be given a session plan to run for each individual “practice” with the support of parent volunteers.

Qualifications

Positive experience: Every training staff member should provide a high-level experience for our Storm families.
Creating a good learning environment: By letting the game be the teacher, the players are encouraged to learn.
Develop player self-esteem and self-confidence: The value of understanding children, being fair and enthusiastic, and being a positive role model, cannot be underestimated.

Foster a safe environment for players and spectators

Focus on each player's physical, social, cognitive, and emotional development.
