In 2016 Colorado Storm was recognized by the Aspen Institute’s Project Play as one of 20 sport organizations nationwide committed to the principles of ‘Sport for All, Play for Life’. Our commitment to action includes providing quality playing opportunities to kids and communities with traditionally limited access. To support our commitment to impacting our youth, we have created Storm’s ‘Access to Sport Initiative’ or ‘A2S’.
The Colorado Storm Soccer Association believes in the power of sport to positively impact and transform the lives of youth. Storm is also committed to providing access to sport for youth and communities that are unable to participate in youth sport’s typical high cost, high demand environments.

The ‘Access to Sport Initiative’ ensures that we meet the economic demands of providing these opportunities. Through this initiative our goal is to solicit the support of individuals, organizations, businesses, community organizations, and funders to join us on our quest to positively impact the youth in our communities.
